Side doors are extremely practical if, for example, you want to quickly fetch garden equipment or bicycles out of the garage without having to open the garage door. Hörmann side doors have the same appearance as the Hörmann garage door.
On request, Hörmann side doors can be supplied with glazing and attractive special handles. Side doors in steel are available in many types and colours of the RAL colour chart. The door leaf surround and door frame are made of 60 mm thick weather-proof aluminium extrusions with all-round seals. The sectional type double-skinned sections are insulated with PU foam and have a Woodgrain-embossed or a silky-smooth Silkgrain® surface finish.
In the case of doors at the back of the house where a matching appearance of garage door leaf and side door is not so important, Hörmann recommend the basement security door KSi 40. This strong and robust steel security door is an absolute must if you enter the house via your garage or the garage is used for storing valuable equipment, such as bicycles or tools.

Cardale side doors - Popular as a side entrance to a garage, the steel personnel doors are supplied pre-framed as standard and come complete with a brass effect Euro profile night latch and deadlock and four anti-drop anchored dog bolt hinges per door leaf.
